Through eight photographic and documentary projects from different parts of the world, At the Edge of Worlds brings together artists who explore contemporary ways of inhabiting the earth — inhabiting borders, memories, bodies, and territories shaped by ecological, political and social upheavals.
At the Edge of Worlds ultimately proposes a sensitive cartography of contemporary territories: vulnerable, contested, and transforming spaces that remain crossed by forces of memory, resistance, and reinvention.
Through these narratives, the exhibition invites us to rethink how we inhabit the living world together — at the edge of the fractures shaping our contemporary condition.

In First Generation, Carolina Arantes explores the identity construction of French women of African descent and with Dans ma chair, un pays, Nathyfa Michel imagines the body as a living territory through which memory, spirituality, and diasporic transmission circulate.

The Tears of Motherland by Masoumeh Bahrami bears witness to the dramatic drying of Iranian wetlands and the silent collapse of ecosystems.

A space dedicated to the creation and dissemination of images
La Kabine is an association committed to supporting and promoting emerging artistic creation in the field of visual arts. Founded in 2021 by three graduates of the ENSP in Arles, it develops a dynamic program of exhibitions, residencies, workshops, and events to support artists and raise awareness among all audiences about the challenges of contemporary and new forms of imagery.
