AQUA
Come anticipato parteciperemo a questo festival d'arte di una giornata con un progetto dedicato
all'acqua.
AQUA vuole sottolineare la responsabilità individuale e collettiva per il ruolo e l'uso di questo
elemento per il nostro pianeta e la sua importanza per l'uomo, la fauna e la flora. Per la nostra
società, la gestione dell'acqua è una delle maggiori sfide e uno degli obiettivi prioritari del 21° secolo.
La mostra è stata presentata in anteprima a luglio a Dubai.
Le opere di artisti contemporanei provenienti da diversi paesi saranno, questa volta, esposte a Roma
per attirare l'attenzione del pubblico sulla nozione di interdipendenza, perché dove l'acqua è
minacciata, lo sono anche tutte le forme di vita sulla Terra.
In quanto elemento vitale, è essenziale per la tutela della biodiversità e degli ecosistemi. Risorsa
naturale per eccellenza, l'acqua è al centro delle riflessioni sulle conseguenze dei cambiamenti
climatici.

ECOLOGIA COME SENTIMENTO
Mentre infuria lo scambio climatico, rivolgiamo la nostra attenzione alla natura e alle varie forme di
vita e iniziamo a pensare profondamente ai sentimenti che si innescano negli esseri umani quando
entrano in contatto con gli elementi, gli animali e le piante, ecc.
Le emozioni e le visioni dell'artista possono essere travolgenti. Quindi l'arte può aiutarci ad affrontare
le questioni attuali da una nuova prospettiva in questo delicato equilibrio attraverso sentimenti, come
l'amore o l'ottimismo, ma anche la rabbia quando qualcosa che ami è danneggiato e valori come
l'etica.

A proposito di AMACI
AMACI è l'Associazione dei 24 Musei di Arte Contemporanea Italiani.
Sabato 8 ottobre 2022 si terrà la Giornata del Contemporaneo, il grande evento organizzato
annualmente da AMACI per portare l'arte al grande pubblico.
Giunta alla sua diciottesima edizione, la Giornata del Contemporaneo aprirà ancora una volta le
porte di 24 musei AMACI, insieme a circa mille istituzioni in tutta Italia e all'estero per presentare
artisti e nuove idee attraverso mostre, workshop, eventi e convegni. Si tratta di un programma
multiforme che, anno dopo anno, ha offerto al grande pubblico l'opportunità di vivere da vicino il
complesso e vivace mondo dell'arte contemporanea, facendo dell'evento organizzato da AMACI
l'appuntamento annuale che apre ufficialmente la stagione artistica in Italia.
La diciottesima edizione si svolgerà sul territorio nazionale sabato 8 ottobre 2022 grazie alla rete
diplomatico-consolare del Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale, composta
da Ambasciate, Consolati e Istituti Italiani di Cultura, Senato della Repubblica, Unione Province
d’Italia e Associazione Nazionale dei Comuni.
Ha come filo conduttore il tema dell’ecologia, connesso a quello della sostenibilità.

About exhibition
AQUA
We will also take part in this one-day art festival with a project dedicated to the water.
AQUA wants to emphasize individual and collective responsibility for the role and use of this
element for our planet and its importance for humans, fauna and flora. For our society, water
management is one of the greatest challenges and one of the priority objectives of the 21st
century.
The exhibition was premiere in Dubai in July. Now the artworks from different countries can be
exhibited in Rome, to draw the public's attention to the notion of interdependence because where
water is threatened, so all forms of life on Earth are too.
As a vital element, it is essential for the protection of biodiversity and ecosystems. Natural
resource par excellence, water is at the centre of considerations on the consequences of climate
change.

About exhibition
ECOLOGY AS A FEELING
While the climate exchange rages on, we turn our attention to nature and various forms of life, and
we begin thinking deeply about the feelings triggered in humans when they come into contact with
the elements, animals, and plants, etc.
The artist's emotions and visions can be overwhelming. So, the art can help us address current
issues from a new angle in this delicate balance through feelings, like love or optimism but also
anger when something you love is damaged and values such as ethics.
It will be very important to see your work on this thinking and the relationship between man-nature.

About AMACI
Contemporary Day, the great event organized annually by AMACI to bring the art to the general
public will be held on Saturday, 8 October 2022.
Now in its eighteenth year, once again Day Contemporary will open the doors of 24 AMACI
museums, along with about a thousand institutions throughout Italy and abroad to present artists
and new ideas through exhibitions, workshops, events and conferences. This is a multiform
programme that, year after year, has given the general public an opportunity to experience from
up close the complex and lively world of contemporary art, making the event organized by AMACI
the annual appointment that officially opens the art season in Italy.
The eighteenth edition will take place on the national territory on Saturday 8 October 2022.
Thanks to the diplomatic-consular network of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International
Cooperation, made up of Embassies, Consulates and Italian Cultural Institutes. Then there will be
the involvement of the network of Contemporary Places promoted by the General Direction for
Contemporary Creativity of the MiC.
We are excited to be continuing this annual tradition from 2008
